Overheat emulsion. Elevated temperatures evaporate water, changing the characteristics of the emulsions. |

Mix emulsions with products from other suppliers as the grades of emulsion may not be compatible. |

Store emulsion samples in diluted form. Once an emulsion is diluted, a stored sample with not represent the stored product.* |
* To dilute, add warm water slowly to emulsion. NEVER add emulsion to water. If warm water is not available, make sure emulsion and water are similarly cool. Cold water mixed with hot emulsion may cause sieve or breaking. If uncertain, test compatibility by adding water to a small sample of emulsion.
