GEOMELT® S Anti-icing / De-icing Fluid – GEOMELT® S anti-icing/de-icing fluid is an all-natural product derived from renewable resources blended with sodium chloride brine. GEOMELT® S anti-icing/de-icing fluid features versatile ice control performace superior to traditional brines. GEOMELT® S fluid not only lowers the freezing point of standard salt brine, it also reduces salt induced corrosion. GEOMELT® S is highly effective as a pretreatment for anti-icing, for de-icing and for pre-wetting.

• Application Rates:
  • ROAD SURFACES – with straight stream nozzles only
    • Spray at spinner or mix in auger at rate of 8-10 gallons/ ton
    • Pre-apply: 25 gallons per lane mile prior to winter event
    • De-ice: 50-60 gallons per lane mile surface application post plow
  • SIDEWALKS
    • Apply 1-2 oz. per sq.yd.; repeat or increase with thickness of frozen material
    • When applying to hard, frozen surface, apply under pressure to break surface
