GEOMELT® K - GEOMELT® K is a anti-icing/de-icing fluid made from GEOMELT®, a natural, agricultural based product, blended with potassium acetate liquid and a anti-corrosive agent. This is a premium product and is often used on airport runways because of its effectiveness and because it does not leave a residue that is kicked up by turbulence and sucked up by jet engines. A preferred application is on sidewalks at entrances of hospitals, office buildings and shopping centers where interior floor coverings are often damaged by what patrons track in from the snowy weather. It has improved melting efficiency. Less applied + fewer applications = less labor cost and lower overall operation costs.
