BIO D55F -  is a anti-icing/de-icing fluid made from a natural, agricultural based product, blended with potassium acetate liquid. BIO D55F is less corrosive than brines and does not create dust residues on the pavements which can be tracked to building interiors. More expensive than chloride brine mixtures, but because it is more effective fewer gallons are required to be as effective. Base rate for application is 1 to 2 oz. per square yard.
